Environmental Health and Psychological Wellbeing: Making the connection – Susan Clayton

Susan Clayton is the Whitmore-Williams Professor of Psychology at The College of Wooster. In her presentation at the 2019 Fuller Symposium, Dr. Clayton showcases the links between psychological wellbeing and connectivity to nature and provides some short and long term strategies for improving the connection between environmental and human mental health.

WWF’s annual Kathryn S. Fuller Science for Nature Symposium convenes leading thinkers from various disciplines to tackle emerging conservation issues. The 2019 Symposium brought together experts in the fields of environmental and human health to discuss the intricate relationship of how our collective resilience and well-being is fully connected to the environment we live in.
