In this video, I show how to build a permanent finance brain using Claude and Obsidian that gives AI long-term memory of an entire business instead of starting from zero every session. Instead of repeatedly uploading reports, explaining the company, and rebuilding context every time you open Claude, this system creates a connected finance knowledge vault where annual reports, earnings calls, board meetings, financial statements, dashboards, and operational metrics become permanently linked together. I walk through the full architecture including Obsidian as the knowledge system, Claude as the analysis layer, and the ingestion workflow that converts raw business documents into a structured, interconnected finance intelligence network.

I also demonstrate how to ingest twenty six airline business documents into the finance brain, reconstruct a full FY2024 turnaround analysis across multiple reports, identify contradictions and operational tradeoffs hidden across filings, and build a forward-looking FY2025 institutional financial model directly in Excel using the permanent context stored inside the vault. Throughout the tutorial, I break down how Claude connects reports, executives, metrics, operational concepts, and strategic initiatives into a reusable finance system that supports forecasting, valuation, turnaround analysis, scenario modeling, and long-term financial research without rebuilding the business context from scratch every session.
