yoga, sculpt, goddess pose variations
I’ve been teaching goddess pose for 25+ years and I’m still not bored of it.
Here’s why.
Most of us do goddess one way: sink, hold, count the seconds until it’s over.
But every pose is a dial, not a switch. You keep the same stance and change what you do with it:
• Harder: stay low and lift your heels. Your quads will hate me- you’re welcome!
• Cardio boost: bend and straighten your legs on a steady rhythm. Your heart rate goes up with zero jumping.
• Modified: come up a few inches higher. It still counts, and it’s still strength.
• Add more OOMPH: increase your weight or slow down the tempo.
You don’t need more poses to stay out of a rut. You need more ways into the ones you already know.
