We’re continuing the transformation of our once written-off Volkswagen Crafter — and this episode gets seriously creative.
With no professional experience, we take on one of the most challenging parts of any campervan build… fitting a fully functional bathroom into an unbelievably small space.
In this episode, we design and build what might be the world’s smallest campervan bathroom:
• Framing out a super compact washroom area
• Maximising every millimetre for function and comfort
• Installing waterproof wall panels and prepping for full sealing
• Planning the layout for a toilet, shower, and drainage system
• Problem-solving on the fly as we figure it all out ourselves
This isn’t just about squeezing things in — it’s about building a smart, usable space that feels premium despite the size.
No experience, no shortcuts — just learning as we go and pushing the limits of what’s possible in a van conversion.
And of course… it wouldn’t be one of our builds without a few unexpected challenges along the way 👀

This project started as a £25k salvage van. Our goal? Build a fully custom, show-stopping £150k campervan from scratch — documenting the entire crash repair, bodywork restoration, exterior styling upgrades, and full camper conversion process.
