Fall decorating ideas don’t have to mean pumpkins, orange pillows, and cliché fall decor. I’m sharing my elevated designer ideas to make your home FEEL like fall—cozy, layered, warm, and beautifully seasonal.

In today’s video, I’m sharing some of my favorite designer tricks for creating that cozy, collected feeling we all crave this time of year—without buying a bunch of themed seasonal decor.

We’ll talk about how to shift the color palette you already have, add visual weight and texture, bring nature indoors, rethink your lighting, rotate your art, style with seasonal produce, incorporate pieces with beautiful patina, and create those little moments that make your home feel warmer and more inviting.

I’m also sharing one of my favorite ideas for this season: decorating your home for what it feels like at 7 p.m. Because as the days get shorter, the way we experience our homes changes too.

Fall decorating isn’t really about adding more “stuff.”
It’s about creating a home that makes you want to come inside, light a candle, curl up on the sofa, and savor the season.
