Set within Mumbai, Pop House is an 800 sq. ft. home that proves bold colour can have a powerful presence even within a compact footprint.

Rather than taking a restrained approach to a smaller space, the interiors embrace colour, art and sculptural forms against a crisp white backdrop. The result is a form of controlled maximalism, expressive and playful, yet carefully balanced so the home never feels overwhelming.

Every corner has its own distinct moment, while a consistent visual language keeps the spaces connected. Bold accents, statement pieces and thoughtful detailing bring personality into the home without compromising on functionality or openness.

At its core, Pop House challenges the idea that smaller homes need to play it safe. It shows how confident design choices can create impact, character and individuality, regardless of square footage.

Zara Eisa is the Co-Founder and Principal Designer of The House of Eisa, a Mumbai-based interior design studio known for its personal and client-centric approach.

Rather than working within one signature aesthetic, Zara designs around the personalities, lifestyles and preferences of the people who inhabit each space. Her work explores different styles and ideas while balancing functionality, thoughtful detailing and individuality, allowing every project to develop an identity of its own.
