Interior designer Emilie Fournet takes us inside a colourful Georgian townhouse designed around its original character, charm and architectural details.

Working within the restrictions of the historic property, Emilie carefully preserved its fireplaces, coving, flooring, sash windows and shutters, while introducing a more modern and functional layout for contemporary living.

With rich colours, expressive patterns, antique pieces and carefully considered textures, the home feels layered and collected over time. In this episode of Behind The Design, Emilie Fournet explains how she created an interior that reflects both the building’s history and the personality of her clients.
